This session your child’s Home learning will be shared via pupil Home Learning book with accompanying activities. Class Teachers will monitor your child’s engagement with Home Learning.

• Termly Overviews are emailed to all families and also available to access through your child’s Home learning book (P1-P5) or class Teams (P6-P7), this will provide an overview of planned lteaching and learning for your child each term.

• Sumdog is an online learning platform  that can be used to support Home Learning in numeracy and mathematics. Sumdog will be used to consolidate and revise key skills already taught in school through work set by your child's class Teacher. Sumdog can be downloaded as an app or accessed through the website www.sumdog.com. Please use your child's login and password to access this.

• Reading books will be sent home on a regular basis; this differs depending on the age of your young person. Your child will be set reading homework on a weekly basis. Your child can also access Borrowbox via Glow (Instructions available on school website) to loan e-books and audiobooks from Falkirk Library Services. Spelling words will be issued monthly and can be accessed via your child’s Home Learning book (P1-P5) or Class Teams Page (P6-P7).

• Linguascope is an award-winning platform which supports the delivery of an outstanding modern language curriculum through thousands of purposeful, engaging activities that inspire and motivate learners. Please use our school login and password to access this.

• Glow is Scotland’s nationally available digital environment that can be used to support learning across the whole curriculum. Access to Glow is restricted to learners and educators using the username and password provided. You can access text and video tutorials for first time users via our School App (Information) and on our School YouTube channel.
